One of the many labels in the Two Hands Picture Series, Smooth Operator encourages the purchaser to roll out a leopard skin rug, light the fire, pop on your robe and a few gold chains, throw on Marvin Gaye and do your best “Smooth Operator” impersonation.
The Picture Series incorporates such names as Angel’s Share, Brilliant Disguise, For Love or Money and Sexy Beast, to name just a few. The brand features an eclectic range of images, unique to each variety.
It was determined that Mark, the Two Hands Brand Ambassador, had the right 70’s ‘studio 54’ look, and he features on the front label. The photo was taken in the Two Hands cellar door with the stunning 70’s robe and some atmospheric theatrical smoke to compliment the open fire and cigar.
Michael Twelftree explains “Smooth Operator was really just a name we reference to the style of Malbec we make from Clare Valley and the picture and back label encourages “Having fun with an old Sade song.”
