Seven Months

Ravensworth needed to create its own identity and story once the business was solely owned by Bryan and Jocelyn Martin. Cloudy Co. was given the task to flesh out the brand story, and given Bryan Martin’s background in cooking, food and produce was identified as core to the brand identity.


Eventually this theme was whittled down to reflect a larder scene typical of old cookbooks. From there Steve Noble, a New York artist who specializing in etchings and lithograph style design, was commissioned to produce a scene that reflected an old fashioned hunters larder. From this work the various labels are derived. Ravensworth has three label themes; a simple dead goose over a chopping board for white wine, a hanging deer and assorted wildlife for reds, and a combined version for the more experimental and “weird” styles as seen on the Seven Months label.
