The story of Lawrenny commenced as early as 1818, established by one of the most colourful characters in the history of Van Diemen’s Land, the colonial cattle tycoon, Lt. Edward Lord. In 1991, the Mace Family took over the once majestic estate, and have returned the property to its former glory of luscious gardens and fertile pastures.
The distillery produces high quality spirits which called for a label that articulated purity and excellence, with cues to history and origin. The result is a range of unique and contemporary labels which present beautifully on shelf.
