Eight friends meet 30 years ago on the Northern Bell Tower of Notre Dame Cathedral adjacent the gargoyle Stryga who we refer to as The Puke Face Gargoyle. Chin in hands and tongue poking out he is classical, playful and a bit irreverent all at the same time. Just how we approach winemaking – a nod to the past, a nod to the future and always remembering wine is for fun with our friends. We use contemporary, slightly dirty colours to differentiate our offering with a stylised drop of blood a reference to the darker gothic origins of The Puke Face Gargoyle.
