The Atlas Blue Label represents the playful unravelling of celestial time. There is in effect no way out of time, it is a continuum — a constant of moments, seasons and experiences we all share. For Atlas ‘Blue Label’ the graphic language expresses this dynamic visual narrative with the etched illustrations breaking apart and wrapping around the bottle.
The graphics have been devised to be directional and lead the viewer to the story and tasting notes of the wine. The core Atlas brand has been copper foiled in the centre of the label with further foil accents around the circumference of the bottle highlighting the wine maker’s signature, url and the closure.
There’s long been a myth that blue labels are not effective in the marketplace. True or false, we found the general absence of blue on shelves to provide a significant cut through opportunity. All colours are evocative and it’s how these elements are designed to function together that continues to attract and engage the wines audience.
The label design visually articulates the core values of the company and the winemaker, it provides an integrated expression of a unique product offering which is as accessible as it is original, progressive and dynamic.
