After 9 years with the same basic label design, the team at Angove Family Winemakers identified the need to give the Studio Series range a ‘face lift.’ Principally an ‘on-premise’ only line, it was important that the design cues were in keeping with the Angove brand evolution.
The team at Design Core came up with a number of different types of Studio, each reflected by a different image in foil with a process colour overprint and spot gloss varnish. The dance studio features a pair of ballet shoes; the art studio a paint brush; the recording studio a microphone; lighting in the photographic studio, a chisel in the wood working studio – each variety linking to its own representation of the Studio. High build screen on the Angove brand and Studio sub-brand add dimension and tactile impact.
With 7 wines in the range Collotype came up with a cost effective solution for printing that achieved great results and really highlighted the design. As usual the professionalism of the Collotype team was excellent with accurate proofs being provided before the print run to ensure it went smoothly on the day.”
